The Vault · Fort Lauderdale · Since 1983
Sell, trade, and store — inside a bank-grade private vault.
Most watch deals in America close across a counter — a pawn shop, a mall office, a FedEx box. Ours close behind two 14,000-pound steel doors, in a private viewing room, with armed security outside and a wire on the way before you leave the building.
By appointment · Private viewing rooms · Tours take about 20 minutes
The hardware
Engineered to Federal Reserve vault standards.
01
The rating
UL 9R — the highest civilian vault specification, the standard used by the Federal Reserve. A typical bank vault carries a B or C rating.
02
The doors
Two 14,000-pound John Tann steel doors, imported from England — the same maker trusted by treasuries for over a century. Steel-plate walls set in reinforced concrete.
03
The entry
Man-trap airlock — electronically interlocking double doors that admit one person at a time. Bullet-resistant glass, biometric access, no walk-in public.
04
The construction
Waterproof, airtight construction modeled after Bank Hauser in Basel, Switzerland — the reference standard the Federal Reserve builds to.
05
The watch
Armed security 24/7/365. Perimeter and interior motion detection, CCTV with off-site monitoring, background-checked staff, discretion protocols enforced.
06
The record
Operating since 1983. Family-owned. Zero reported security incidents in four decades — a track record no bank in South Florida can match.
Vault facility and security systems provided by Florida InterVault — the private vault we share our address with on the Galt Ocean Mile.
Sell in the vault
The safest room in Florida to sell a watch.
Every other buyer asks you to carry a five-figure watch into a strip mall — or drop it in a mailbox. We invert that: the security is built around you. Your watch never leaves your sight until you’re paid.
1
Book the room
Call, text, or walk in during business hours. Your appointment is a private viewing room inside the vault — not a counter, not a kiosk.
2
Verify together
We inspect and authenticate on the spot, in front of you. Questions answered, comps shown, offer made — nothing happens out of your sight.
3
Wire before you leave
Accept, and the wire goes out same-day — most sellers watch it land before they’re back at the car. Decline, and you walk out with your watch and a firm number that holds for 14 days.
Watch storage
Store your collection where we store ours.
Most fine-watch purchases end with no plan for where the watch will actually live. A home safe can be carried out or opened with basic tools; a bank box keeps banker’s hours; self-storage is a padlock and a roll-up door. Your collection belongs behind the same doors as our inventory.
Built for movements
Precision climate control — 70°F ±2°, 50% humidity ±5% — inside the 9R vault. Your pieces are stored in your own box or dedicated cage, never commingled.
Documented on arrival
Every watch is photographed and condition-reported at intake. Retrieve, wear, and return by appointment — or sell any piece with one call. It’s already authenticated and in our hands.
Private by design
No SSN required. Rent in your name, an LLC, or a trust. Your pieces stay in your own box or dedicated cage — never commingled — and no one reaches them without your say.
Ideal for: seasonal residents · estates & trusts · collections between homes · pieces you rotate · everything you just bought from us
Storage plans and pricing by consultation — sized to your collection, from a single watch to a dedicated cage.
